New file submission form should raise the bar on convenience
As a convenience for our clients sending us images and other digital documents that are too big for email, we have introduced a browser-based file submission form.
Through this form, you can submit up to 6 files, along with your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and comments. A unique Submission ID is generated and you are sent a detailed confirmation email. The files you submit are only accessible by us.
Files up to 30 MB large can be submitted so long as the combined size of all 6 files doesn’t exceed 64 MB. This should be sufficient to handle most requirements. If you do need to submit more files, just use the form again.
So, rather than bringing a CD, flash drive or even your laptop to the studio, or installing an “ftp” client and figuring out all that ftp stuff, we’re thinking a browser-based solution will be much easier for most folks in most cases.
In the event you need to submit a lot of files or files larger than 30 MB or we need to send files back to you, we still have the option of using ftp. Just contact us and we’ll set you up with your own private ftp account.
Speaking of ftp, our recommended ftp client is FileZilla. It’s free, it’s powerful, it’s easy to use and it is available for Linux, Mac and Windows.
Cheers!
